Your day begins with a delightful breakfast before being accompanied by your private Egyptologist guide to one of the globe's most renowned sites—the Great Pyramids of Giza. Witness the grandeur of the Great Pyramid of Cheops, alongside the pyramids of Chephren and Mykerinus, as well as the timeless Sphinx. Have breakfast before checking out and making your way to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon your arrival, you will be taken to your luxury Nile Cruise, where you can embark and enjoy a delightful lunch onboard.

Later in the afternoon, explore the wonders of Luxor’s East Bank, starting with the magnificent Karnak Temple complex, a breathtaking assembly of temples built over centuries. Walk through the grand Hypostyle Hall, a true architectural gem. Following this, visit Luxor Temple, a site impeccably preserved that was once linked to Karnak via the Avenue of Sphinxes. In the evening, return to your cruise for dinner and an overnight stay in Luxor.

A short flight to Luxor, followed by an afternoon at Karnak Temple — the largest religious complex ever built — to prepare for the eclipse and get orientated on the East Bank.

Begin your day with breakfast on the cruise, then set out to discover Luxor’s West Bank. Your first destination will be The Valley of the Kings, a burial ground for pharaohs, including the famous Tutankhamun, known for its elaborately adorned tombs. Next, visit the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, an awe-inspiring edifice carved directly into the cliffs. Your tour concludes with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, two monumental statues that have stood watch over Thebes for ages.

Afterward, head back to the ship for lunch and set sail southwards towards Edfu. Dinner will be served on board, followed by an overnight stay on the cruise.

The main event: Luxor sits inside the path of totality for the 2 August 2027 total solar eclipse. Your guide positions the group at a clear viewing spot near the temples for the full sequence, from first contact through totality. In the afternoon, board your private Nile cruise boat.

Post breakfast, enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride to reach the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This strikingly well-preserved temple is dedicated to the falcon god Horus, representing one of the best examples of Ptolemaic architecture found in Egypt.

As you sail to Kom Ombo, lunch will be served onboard. In the afternoon, visit the distinct Kom Ombo Temple, which is dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. Be sure to appreciate the symmetrical design, ancient surgical tools on display, and mummified crocodiles. Dinner will follow, along with an overnight stay on the cruise as it continues its journey to Aswan.

Return to the cruise for lunch, then spend your afternoon at leisure. Dinner will be served onboard while you absorb the serene atmosphere along Aswan’s riverbanks.
